Outlook
Allow employees to search their own Outlook mailbox in the chat.
With the Outlook integration, LOKI can search a person's own Outlook mailbox in the chat: Inbox and Sent Items. LOKI reads messages and opens PDF, Word and text attachments.
- Read-only: LOKI never sends, moves or deletes anything.
- Own mailbox only: each person can reach only their own mailbox, with their own Microsoft permissions. Administrators cannot look into other people's mailboxes through LOKI either.
You will find the page under Integrations on the Outlook Mail card.
Requirements
- Microsoft 365 is connected (see Microsoft 365).
- The app registration has the delegated permission Mail.Read in Microsoft Graph, with admin consent.
- People sign in to LOKI with Microsoft. Only then can LOKI read their mailbox.
Granting access
Access to mailboxes is never granted automatically. This is how you grant it:
- Open Groups and scroll to Microsoft groups.
- For the group you want, click Manage tools.
- Tick Outlook e-mail.
The tool can only be given to Microsoft groups, not to LOKI groups. Under Who can use it, the Outlook page shows which groups currently have it, or “Nobody yet.”
Each person can switch the tool off again for themselves in the chat (see Data sources and tools).
E-mails and cloud models
If a person chooses a cloud model in the chat, the e-mail content that LOKI reads for the answer also goes to the provider. Create a compliance policy if confidential information from e-mails should not leave the organisation.
